    He will make his last broadcast next Sunday. A voice i, and im sure many of you, grew up with. Was great to tune in and see who beat who every Sunday no matter where in the world you were.....

    Legend of a man, really enjoyed hearing him call out all those scores, on the way home from matches - or when I was studying abroad. It really is some show,Gaelic Sports Results and is the longest running continuously broadcast radio feature in the world - if we had a cent for every score he called out we could get the economy back on an even keel straight away!!

    Worked in England for a good few years with vivid memories of being in the Pub on a sunday night sneaking in another pint while waiting for the results.

    The pub would go scielent while the results were read out appart from the occasional celebratory yelp. God help any unfortunate sod that did not realise what was going on.

    His voice is as clear as crystal in my mind still.. even though I've not tuned into the show in over 10 years
