    Hey,

    I want to get back in to the volunatary ambulance service again. I was with the Order of Malta back home and since I have moved to Dublin I would like to start it up again. I wouldn't mind going with the Order of Malta again or the Red Cross as long as they train their volunteers.

    The only problem is I am not sure where these places are located and how to get involved. I'm in Stillorgan in south Dublin.

    Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Hi there.

    If you're interested in St.John Ambulance, they're going through a bit of a revival recently! I completed NQEMT with them before Christmas, and got my license about 3 months ago now.

    If you'd like, pop along to http://stjohn.ie/contact-st-john-ambulance/volunteer and they'll get back to you very soon with the location and meeting time of the nearest division!

    Hi deasy all the Dublin units of OMAC are mapped out at http://www.orderofmalta.ie/index.php/contact-us/contact-your-local-unit including details on their meeting times.

    Dundrum and Blackrock would be your two nearest units though personal opinion is that I'd recommend Dundrum who train on a Tuesday night and their O/C is sound. If ya need any help gimme a PM and I'll point you in right direction of getting sorted.
