Most of the batteries you will find on ebay, are equal to what you have or worse. Despite what it says. I'd only buy one if there was an independent review or test of it to confirm it is actually better.
You could buy a desktop battery charger and another genuine normal battery, to have 2 batteries?

Tbh, i can't see you getting more than 1 and a half days out of those kind of phones. They're just not built for it. They're built to be power houses, with little concern for the battery lasting more than 24hrs.

I have a desire and I bought a couple of extra batteries that I keep in my wallet. I rarely have to swap them but it's a workable solution.

Be wary of these cheap batteries boasting high power, they will likely melt or explode. Try turning off 3g, you will be amazed how much it prolongs the battery. I got a Desire to last mon-fri roaming this way.

I got an extended battery before. Tbh the battery level sometimes displays incorrect as the software wasnt meant for a double battery and it makes the phone damn ugly and uncomfortable to hold in hand for long periods for surfing the net or playing games.

I just as above carrying around a spare battery in my jacket pocket if it comes to that case :)

why would you buy a battery for a phone you're only using temporarily?

tbh, if a charge a day is too much for you, i dont think android/smartphones are going to be much good to you.

ive been using my DesireHD quite alot today admittidly, wifi/3g/browsing/gaming everything, and its just dipped below 35% battery power remaining, and i only took it off charge at 12pm!
i can get 1->1.5 days out of it with light usage, but whats the point in that?

I'm getting to a point where my SGS is getting a full charge twice a day now.
To help this, today I should be getting the Samsung Power Pack Case / Rechargeable Battery in the post.
