Anyone a member of an online book club ? Anyone recommend an online book club ? I've never been a member of a book club and would like to join one but as I live quite a bit out of town and dont drive joining an actual one isnt really possible. Be grateful if anyone knows of any active online book clubs or can give me some info on one. Like to hear about peoples experience with online book clubs too if ya care to share.

Book Crossing is a great online website:
    www.bookcrossing.com
    http://www.boards.ie/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=2055897240

and if you want, you can actually meet up at the Dublin meetings.
We have members all over Ireland and the world, so there is bound to be a Book Crosser near you. It's fine if you don't want to meet up with the members, you can still join in the literary discussion on line. I joined last May 2010, and I'm really enjoying it.

PM if you want more info.

I would also recommend Bookcrossing. I found it great. Another website you might be interested in is http://www.bordgaisenergybookclub.ie/ It isn't the most active bookclub I've seen but they generally pick interesting books.
