Ford Service - Cork

It's the time of year when I need to get my car serviced. I'll have a look at my manual and see what sort of service the car needs for the mileage.

Does anyone know of a decent Ford garage that can do the service and won't cost an arm & several legs? I'm in Cork City. I think there's a garage by the airport, and there's City Ford, but do not know their reputations.

Also - the car's due for an NCT. It'll probably be either Little Island or Blarney. Do either of these stations offer Saturday/late evening inspections?

Sorry to be a bit woolly, but don't have much experience of Irish mechanics being from London, but any and all help appreciated!

    TIA:)

Just realised this might be the wrong forum! Mods - if so, please move. Thanks!!

Cork city Ford is the main ford dealer close to the airport, its at the top of forge hill,we buy most of our Ford parts from them, from what i can see they are a very professional and helpful bunch and i would have no problem recommending them..
How old is your car?Does it have to be a main dealer that services it?an indy would prob be cheaper.
As for the nct centres i think they both open late during the week but not sure about weekends..

Thanks for the reply. It's a 2007 Fiesta which is also due 1st NCT soon.:) Yes, Indy would be cheaper, but I figured for the first service since I got the car, it might be better for Ford to do it, but am not sure....Don't know of any indies in Cork.

JDM on Monahan Road are top knotch for any car and is very good value. Does full diagnostics etc and won't screw you on anything in there. PM me if you want a number for him and he is open late every evening which can be handy too!

We have a batch of transits at work and they are serviced at Cork city ford. The lads are happy with them.
