    Hi Folks,
Can't see this question in any threads. Got the free sat device from Lidl a few years ago and has worked fine till recently. It now turns on and the channel details appear on the bottom of the screen but no picture. A "no signal" message appears then. Checked all the connections to the box and they seem fine. Tried to retune the device with no joy. Wondering if someone has come accross this issue?
    Thanks
    L

The problem with using those fta boxes is that if a channel changes transponder you have to get the box to search for it again but it will place the channel higher up in the channel list.
For example you could have BBC 4 set at number 4 on your program list but if you have to retune it 'cos it changed transponder it could appear on channel 800,the channel list has to be manually set to suit yourself.

It appears that you are getting no signal from your dish. This could be due to a damaged cable, the dish moving, or a faulty LNB. I would start out by borrowing a working box and seeing if that works. If it does then you know your own box is faulty. If it doesn't you'll have to eliminate the components by trial and error. If the entire cable run looks ok you could start out by realigning the dish.
