as a result of my car getting broken into today..

Is it possible for these 2 panels to be replaced?
Any idea what the cost would be..
im expecting the insurance company will cover it..

Will this affect my no claims bonus?

    Thanks in advance.

It'd help if you told us what car it is.

Those are often part of the overall door frame, but not always.

This might be a better forum to ask the question

Whether it affects your ncd will depend if you protected it or not. In any event you will have to pay the excess. Do the sums carefully before you claim!

Are they badly dented or just scratched, it's hard to tell from the pic. If just scratched you probably won't need to replace, just a respray.

But to answer your question, afaik they can be replaced relatively easily but a few bits and pieces may have to come off the door first.

If you have glass cover, normally your insurance may pay out for repairs to surrounding panels which were directly damaged from the glass breakage (if that happened in your case) without affecting your NCB. However we cannot say what your specific policy covers so I suggest you read the finer details of your policy or ring your insurer.

something like these would probably work out cheaper than replacing with OE items, your insurance excess is probably more than these cost.

would anyone know how long it would take to install the new piece?
I found a replacement online at a fairly decent price..
Just trying to determine how much I can expect to pay on labour..

    cheers
