    Any AHERS affected by the fires breaking out all over? Drove through a massive smoke pall today in kildare, and I reckon a lot of people around the country must be smoked out of it considering how many big fires are burning at the mo. Is you getting smoked?

    Few houses lost to fires in South Donegal. There are pics on Donegal Forum.

    On way home from work last Friday a twat was burning stuff on N15 Donegal to Ballyshannon Road. Whole road was covered in white smoke!

    yeah, but thats up north, bad as it is, this is kildare, where nothing ever happens. 3 Bombs down the road last night and now the place is burnin, whats it coming to??

    tbh Don't think Kildare would be missed it if went up in smoke. So send your fire engines up 'ere :D

    fortunatly most of the smoke is blowing into Offaly. It's a lot of smoke, but I believe that Offaly can take it, it being the spiritual home of the emperor of smoke and mirrors, Mr B C. Didn't think there was much up in Donegal to burn, apart from gorse and sheep. We're losing good turf here people.

    i wonder how many carbon dioxides are being released by these fires, pretty much makes a mockery of the whole green low-co2 thing. Horizon/ sky around here is chocked out with smoke now.

    I'd imagine it's nothing compared to the amount emitted from vehicles everyday, we just can't see it.
