Ocean to City - rental

    I know there was some discussion about this previously. I'm looking to see if there is any update on the availability of kayak rentals for the Ocean to City race in Cork this June. I'm training on a sit on top which is fine but on the day I'd like to rent a decent vessel. Does anybody know if you can do a short term rental of a sea kayak for the race or ideally for a couple of weeks to train on too?

    There are two sea kayak places I can think of,
    Atlantic Sea kayaking
    H2O sea kayaking
    Not sure if they rent but would be worth asking as both are in Cork county.


    That or join a club with sea kayaks.

    The guys at munster dive and canoe gave me a loan of a kayak for the day. Excellent service from them. Mdac.ie.
