5th year summer job

    Hi guys,

    Jut wondering if there is any chance i could get some summer work in a hospital... i have already been onto the ambulance service and even if i had me EFR i still wouldnt be able to get into an ambulance for summer work..is there any openings in cork hospitals that anyone knows of..id really appreciate any info ye have!

    tbh, I would just advise against it. soon enough you will be working over the summer for the next 40 years. holidays are precious, make the most of them.

    I'm not from Cork, but would you do portering? We have a few agency portering staff where I work, and they're all getting a lot of hours per week - it would have to be the same around the country.

    You won't be entertained due to health & safety/insurance grounds, and also patient privacy.

    The most you will get is admin/portering, and even at that it's tough enough to get.

    Have you considered care homes or similar for the elderly?.
