Meath Athletics Invitational Steeplechase 1,500m 8/05/2011

    Meath Athletics Board are delighted to host an invitational steeplechase event on Sunday 8th May 2011. The races will be over 1,500m and will have female/male junior/senior and masters categories.

    There are few enough opportunities to compete in a steeplechase and these races will give athletes a chance to perfect their technique prior to the main competitive season of schools, county, regional and national events.

    Open to registered AAI athletes, interested athletes or their coaches should make contact with me prior to the day on

    We are particularly interested if any male athletes were to express an interest in competing.

    A quick word of thanks to those guest athletes and coaches that joined us today. Some good races, with some top talent on show.
