Are the Motley and the Express difficult to write for ? Like are the places competitive?

There are a number of ways to get involved. Some people will just write a piece (700 words or so) and send it in, and if if the Editors like it they print it. Or if you contact the Editorial team directly, they will be able to accomodate your own ideas, or give you a topic to cover if they have one. Becoming a regular contributor is best done by getting in touch with the Editor of the specific section you are interested in and finding out what they want and marrying it to what you want to write.

The teams for next year have not been fully put together yet, but you can contact next years Editors at the below emails.

    Byron Murphy - editor@uccexpress.ie
    Kevin Curran - editor@motley.ie
