looking for newspapers from last Friday. was told there was a newsagent in south county Dublin that sold past copies but could not find with quick google check. anyone got any details or any other source in Dublin area?many thanks

I'm not aware that any newsagent specialises in holding back copies for a few weeks. They cut off the barcode for the refund and then I guess dump the rest of the papers, you'll need to go from shop to shop and ask if they haven't yet had their waste paper collected.

You'll probably have a better chance if you concentrate on small shops and filling stations, some of the big shops get rubbish collected almost every day or even if they don't, they pack the paper waste into bales and bind them. You'll need to get your skates on.

Why not call into the newspaper in question and buy a back copy?
Or phone them and pay for it to be posted to your address.
Or look it up online.

Ask around your friends and neighbours. Lots of people will still have them in their re-cycling bins.

What about that newsagent in Dun Laoghaire as you go towards the Peoples Park from the centre. Seems to have newspapers stacked everywhere!
