something odd about land folio

    not sure this belongs in this forum or the legal section, i inherited some land from an uncle in the past year and plan to sell it , this uncle of mine lives in donegal and i have no intention of moving there , anyway , 29 acres in two sections and while both sections fall under the one folio , one section has no area listed , i know what the area is but my question is this , in order to sell it , would i need to have it measured by a quantity surveyor and the acreage details registered with the land reg authority

    and after you had it measured , how long did it take for the land registry to have the area details registered on the folio
