RDS is the far side of the city to where you're coming from and depending on the time of the day it's going to take a while !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1111

Depending on time of day M50 and Port Tunnel might be best.

    Daytimes the canal/quays are 50/50.

For any event at them venues it would be mainly and evening gig and you would have to be there for between 5 and 6 depending so you are looking at Rush hour traffic during the week so there wouldnt be any quicker routes from those that you already know.

Would you be driving up for each event?

For the 02 you could either go down the quays or go across the M50 and use the port tunnel which leaves you at the O2.
For the Rds and Aviva, the canal from the Naas rd would be the straightest route as i cant see anything easier or quicker without doing a tour of the south side.
Ask the crowd you work for where the best place to park for the events are. For events at the rds and the aviva, you might be able to park at the rds . For the 02 as well, park at the park and ride on the naas road and get the luas to it if you are able to get the last luas back. Apart from that then park at connoly station or the car parks near and walk .
If worked for a well known event crowd and the parking can be a nightmare and the money you get is not worth the hassle sometimes.

Since you are coming in on the M4 you could park at Maynooth train station and get the train to Connolly for the O2 or Lansdowne Rd for the RDS/Aviva.

The majority of trains stop at every station, even ones that are not used, and take ~50 mins. You will get some "express" trains to/from Maynooth that don't stop till Connolly. These generally take 25 mins.

The OP could be pushed to make the last train back depending on the event. Good idea though.

Absolutely. Last train is from Connolly at 11.17pm. Welcome to Ireland!
