For the last year or so I have had the add on to chrome to allow me to download youtube videos through a oneclick download button on the youtube page .Tonight I have just found that I can no longer do it.I have made no changes to my system , but when I click download i am redirected to this page which appears to be a block of some sort from eircom.
    Anyone else have this problem

    AFAIK, they don't block it.
I imagine there's some issue either with Chrome itself, or the add on.

With eircom myself. Orbit + IE combo still working fine for downloading youtube clips.

I use keepvid.com, it saves the hassle of any addons etc

Eircom is probably not your problem..

If youve recently updated chrome to v10.x (it may have done this by itself), it may be chrome, there seem to be a lot of issues with chrome 10, things that worked previously are now broken, unfinshed features in a final version etc etc
You can check your chrome version by clicking on the "wrench icon" then "About Google Chrome".

Or alternatively and also very likely is your addon is the problem. Im not familiar with how addons are updated on chrome but I know that on other browsers it can be done automatically, and this may have been a bad update, try checking the addon's webpage or site for other users with similar issues
