The voice of snooker Ted Lowe passed away this morning, I'm sure like me everyone enjoyed Ted's commentary over years, may he rest in peace.

Great tribute BBC have done for him - they must have been expecting it for a few days to prep that.

As always, BBC stands up to the name of being the finest broadcaster around...

RIP Ted.

Some great pieces about him from the BBC today.

I remember about 3 or 4 years ago he did a little cameo commentary at the start of the fourth session of the final at The Crucible for about 5 minutes. Great stuff.
