    the back door by the restaurant is usually open, i've yet to hear of it being closed during the day anyway

    On a related note, the Henry Grattan opening hours are shocking. End of the semester and they're still closing at 6pm regardless of looming deadlines. I just withnessed a load of final years, with video and audio theses due on wednesday, being asked to leave by security, for no reason other than the rules saying so.

    The other night one security officer was so sound and said we "could stay in til twelve but to let ourselves out the fire exit" - really we could stay in til anytime cos I left at half one - And then we have security officers kicking us out just after 10 - no consistency whatsoever.

    I'm not here weekends but I think the weekend closing times are absolutely scandalous especially cos they have guys working round the clock. As a JR student I do intend to communicate these grievances to the college. Anyone who is using protools in the audio lab (it's the only lab that it's installed) we got told the app has a bug - but the macs there don't have near the capacity as the other labs have - in many ways we're at a disadvantage..anyway rant over..bring on wednesday!
