The Road Safety Authority (RSA) is bringing its 'Check it Fits' Roadshow to Tesco, Ashe Road, Fairgreen in Mullingar on Thursday 5th May (10.00am - 5.00pm). Unfortunately as many as 3 out of 4 child car seats are fitted incorrectly, which means your child could be at risk of serious injury or even death in the event of a collision. So please try to come down to the roadshow if it's in your area. Experts will be on hand to check your child's car seat, FREE of charge, and give you the peace of mind that your child is travelling safely.

    Dates and locations are below:

Wednesday 4th May, Barrow Valley Retail Park, Sleaty Road, Carlow from 10:00am to 5:00pm

Thursday 5th May, Tesco, Ashe Road, Fairgreen, Mullingar from 10:00pm to 5:00pm
Friday 6th May, Dunnes Stores, Kyle Centre, Portlaoise from 10:00am to 5:00pm
Saturday 7th May, Lidl, Athlone Road, Cavan from 10:00am to 5:00pm
Sunday 8th May, Lidl, North Road, Monaghan from 12:00pm to 6:00pm

    Hope to see you there!

More information on child safety in cars is available on the RSA website at www.rsa.ie

This is such a waste of public money, the very fact that 75% of people couldn't be bothered to read a manual and put there children at risk is beyond me and that same 75% then go vote in a government that funds stupid projects like this one. Will there be no end to the cycle ???????? Has anyone else seen the RSA advertisements on YouTube about how to navigate a roundabout ?? The rest of the world calls it common sense, Ireland calls it a roadshow :D:D:D
