So, today's the feast of Bealtaine and the first day of summer in 2011. Exams will be over soon, the J1s will be used and things will be done that will be regretted, lamented and cherished.

What are your plans for this summer?

I'm starting it by walking another camino, Camino Finisterre out to the Atlantic ocean from Santiago. It should only take a week. If I can get five weeks more, I'll walk the Vía de La Plata from Cadiz to Santiago de Compostela: 1.175km. I walked all 800km of the Camino Francés last summer and it was easily the most rewarding 27 days I've ever spent. Some of the coolest, chilled-out people on the planet were walking it.

I'll be mainly bitching about how the weather sucks because as usual the Irish summer is like a disappointing lover...it came too early:rolleyes:

Just like any other time of the year, though much prefer the Winter, that said really looking forward to Vanessa Carltons first new album in four years, might also follow our womens football team this summer while no doubt reading that Arsenal are connected with a totally different player every day in the newspapers and no doubt Cesc to Barcelona
