I know this is a bit last minute, but this guide might be useful to any Catholics wanting to participate in the Divine Mercy Sunday and I know it can be a bit confusing, so this guide from EWTN lays out clearly what is required and what's what. There are other useful and interesting pages linked off from that page too.

Doing a quick google, "prayer for the intentions of Supreme Pontiff" can be satisfied by praying for the Pope's intentions by saying a Hail Mary and an Our Father. Could this be done during the mass?

I wonder will most Churches give people the opportunity to do the The "specific conditions for this Indulgence" (in the presence of the Blessed Sacrament exposed or reserved in the tabernacle, recite the Our Father and the Creed, adding a devout prayer to the merciful Lord Jesus (e.g. Merciful Jesus, I trust in you!) as part of a separate service straight after mass?

edit : nevermind! If I read to the bottom of the page I would have known :D

I've been looking forward to this Feast Day, I've been doing the DM Novena since Good Friday. And what better day to Beatify the Pope who helped make the Feast Day possible, Blessed JPII. :)

After Easter, the best day of the year.

It is one of the most wonderful gifts from Christ.

Folks, if you haven't already read St. Faustina's Diary, I would strongly encourage you to do so! It's an amazing read and has to be one of the most influential books I've ever read. Definitely in the top 5. I find it a great boost to my faith when I need it.

I've a copy in the drawer but dinny get round to reading it yet. I is currently finishing off Benedict's second volume of Jesus of Nazareth. It's class.
