I read a similar press-release but the cross-over was resheduled for the season premiere in september/october instead. So not the worst thing ever, even if i disagree that this weather disaster shouldn't have affected an animated TV show's plans, IMO.

Seth McFarland's planned series crossover event, in which a hurricane rampages through Family Guy, American Dad! and The Cleveland Show, has been pulled due to content, a Fox spokesperson confirms to TVGuide.com.

"In light of the recent storms that have affected the nation, Fox has decided to postpone the crossover episodes of Family Guy, American Dad and The Cleveland Show that were originally scheduled to air this Sunday," the network said in a statement.

Instead, reruns of the animated series will air Sunday. The crossover is expected to premiere next season. The news was first reported by The Hollywood Reporter.

Not the worst news, only a few months late.
