Hope i'm in the right forum but looking for advice on setting up ahome network. I currently have a desktop sitting in the kitchen which i want to shift upstairs but want to access the hard drive over wifi for movies, music etc to be played on a tv/stereo downstairs Whats the easiest way to do this? Any advice appreciated.

Shared folder.

Depending on the size of the media you are streaming, the Wifi might not be fast enough.
