Che is not actually his name. apparently it is the same as the irish saying "hey"
As it turns out, "che" is an Argentine filler word. It doesn't really have a meaning, which makes it a bitch to try to translate. Sometimes it's used to get your attention, sort of like how an American might say "Yo!" or "Hey!" Sometimes, it's used as a term of endearment for a friend, the equivalent of "bro" or "dude." And sometimes Argentines use it for no damned reason at all, so it'd be more like "uh" or "ummm ..."

Ya know what, the last 3 times I got cheese melts (and that was in 2 different MacDonalds), they told me they were out of Sweet Chili dip. Odd.

i feel your pain, that sweet chilli dip might be the greatest product of all time, if it wasnt for their false promises of it, i'd never darken the doorstep, but that, and the coffee, I cant help myself.

i imagine this is EXACTLY what its like for heroin addicts.

I love Cheese Melts, but with the sauce they just don't taste right. It's a sad, sad day when ya can't get your Sweet Chili fix. I may just go find I junkie and tell him how much I now understand him.

So did you choose mayonnaise or barbeque?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,237 ✭✭✭Owwmykneecap

In my town bonfire night is mayday.

I've missed it for the last few years so tomorrow i'm gonna go to the shed and find all the old wooden junk that's pilled up over the last few years.

Or if i feel lazy i might just give it to the local kids.

'Mayday' is the internationally recognized voice radio signal for ships and people in serious trouble at sea. Made official in 1948, it is the French word m'aidez, 'help me'.
