Queen Assassination

    Chatting about the Queen's visit this evening and subject of assassination came up. I'm pretty ambivalent to whole thing but it struck me, this being Ireland, that it'd be fairly easy to have a cut at killing her. She's going visiting the Garden of Remembrance by all accounts and as far as I remember there's a hotel across from the road from it, so whats to stop someone booking a front facing room in the top floor, tooling up with a rocket launcher of some description and making bits of her? Nothing as far as I can see.

    The IRA won't try to kill her anyway, they'd be even more hated than they are now by the general public. It wouldn't make good business sense.

    I don't. Like I said in my OP I'm ambivalent to the whole thing.

    But I can guarantee you there are people out there that do. Hence my post!

    What you can see is minute compared to what her security have access to.

    Lets not jump the gun here.

    She just survived her grandsons wedding with 2 billion people looking on.:pac:

    If ever there was a chance to make a statement, that was it.
