Netbook problem with audio

I've just got a samsung netbook which I've installed VLC player to playback some movies which I've DL.

The video quality and audio are perfect when not in fullscreen, but when I put it into fullscreen, the audio becomes crackled and jumpy.

Can someone tell me what I can do to sort this problem out and be able to view the movies in fullscreen. The screen is only 10.1 inch so kinda have to view it in fullscreen.

Don't know what problem could be. Any suggestions?

The drivers that are currently installed would be the ones the laptop shipped with.

You should be able to get the latest drivers on the samsung site, if you give me the model number I can have a look for ya

    http://www.samsung.com/us/support/downloads/NP-N145-JP01US

this seems to be best I can find, you could try using media player classic, I have a similar problem with a toshiba laptop of mine, I fixed it by disabling my card reader when on windows.

So do i just click on "driver" tab and download the Sound(audio) driver from that site?

How could I disable card reader on samsung?

You go into device manager and disable it from there, although you probably wont need to.
And yes you just download from that site the way you said

sometimes find this problems with some songs or videos on my laptop. speakers aren't the best, but if i plug in headphones, it's grand again.

just worth a go to see if it's any better...
