I dunno how i feel. Im mean, its impressive yes, but there is nothing engaging on it. All the titles so far are rehashes of old crap with 3d.....big deal. I honestly only bought it for ocarina of time and thats a while away yet. But here's hoping that games start getting released that are actually good and not banking on 3d being its only selling point. I went and bought broken sword for the DS for it.....thats how impressive the line up was :P

Not a bit of self awareness there in what you posted Steve. Rehashes? Old?...........................Ocarina of Time? :D

Yeah I am getting very bored of it, I suppose the reason behind it is lack of funds to buy more games... I would sell it, but I know I would lose out big bucks on it if I did.. Like I paid near 300 with a game and probably only get 220 now :(.. Ahh well I just can't wait till the May update it should be good :)..

    It's only been a month.
Wasn't it worse on the DS?
Wii launch wasn't that goo either.

By christmas we'll have mario, starfox, zelda, and god knows what 3rd party games.
Meanwhile, why not play DS games or next month some GB games?
Shadow wars for 3ds is great if you don't have it yet.

When I bought the 3DS I knew what I was getting. The launch line up was terrible but I was buying it for the potential. I'm sure things will improve. Especially when Mario Kart and the Mario platformer turn up.

Bit of a knee jerk reaction if you ask me. Im not bored of mine yet although I do tire of the 3D within the games but its still great to have on now and again. I bought mine purely because i wanted to treat myself and seeing as I will probably be traveling a lot in the next while I didn't want to go out and get a 360 or PS3. (yes im that behind on the times) I may invest in one of the battery updates alright. I also wish more people would get it so I could have at least one street pass haha oh well still early days yet. These things take time.

Thank god you can play DS games on it, otherwise I would completley agree.

Kinda a trend now that new tech gets released & there is a long wait for the first title to truly showcase the system.Kinect & Move are still waiting for that moment but i'm sure Mario 3DS,Mario Kart or Ocarina of Time(despite it being a remake) might be that for the 3DS.Real pity there hands were tied & they couldn't release Prof Layton but we are always behind Japan in that series.Prof Layton would of shifted a few more 3DS's in the West if it was a launch title.

When's the online store opening? Might be something decent on that.

Eshop launches with mario and loz gameboy games updated in 3d this month as far as i know, may be the 6th?

This is the reason i did not get a 3ds yet, will wait untill the end of the summer to get one as the line up after to and after E3 in June will be unreal!!!

Just hold out, it will be worth it over the next few months, believe me!!!!! LoZ, New mario, paper mario and mario kart with online updates for new tracks I believe, then star fox, Resident evil etc.... There's loads of games coming!!!!!

I got one at launch trading in my DSi, then sold it a week later. Bought another one today because it's down to €205 in HMV, traded in €245 worth of PS3 games and got Ghost Recon with it.

I was always going to buy another one for Zelda but at €205 I snapped it up while I could.

Why wait till then to get it? Surely if all those games will bring a big demand in buying the 3DS they will up the price back to the R.R.P.?

HMV are still selling it for 205. You can't get much better than that.

Well it's only been a month or so since launch, the launch window generally doesn't have as many killer apps. There's still loads in the pipeline and E3 is only a few weeks away, god knows what kind of games anouncments we could have then.

Also this article may be worth a read to those who question the future short or long term of the system

    They're not in 3D.
They'll be Virtual Console games from GB and GBC.

They will have a few games in the "3D Classics" section which will be as you described.
The only title confirmed formally so far is Excitebike, and that's only confirmed for Japan.

    Late May isn't the 6th.

I don't think it's a case of the 3DS becoming boring OP, I think it's just the poor release of games thus far. There's nothing that really stands out at the moment but I reckon the best is yet to come.

Looking forward to a Mario platformer to come out for it.

I'm half thinking about getting Mario ds again providing the analogue stick works with it. Got shadow wars with the console but haven't played it yet
