Have you tried your local Scrap/salvage yard?

Go to your local motor factors. You'll buy a spurious lamp brand new for 80 quid or so.

If it's only cracked you can get repair tape from the motor factors. It's just some red transparent tape to keep out the water. Should be around €5.

FYI, if you move to a 'smart' meter electricity plan, you CAN'T move back to a non-smart plan.

You don't have to take a 'smart' meter if you don't want one, opt-out is available.

Buy drinks in 3L or bigger plastic bottles or glass bottles or cartons to avoid the DRS fee.

Thanks for the pic, it's still a small chip which the tape will repair, and will pass the NCT. I've repaired worse than that. As long as you're not showing any white light to the rear you're good.

If your worried about resale value, I don't think it will effect it much.

This is the type of tape I'm talking about.

Or if you do want to replace it, a second hand light from your local scapyard is the next cheapest option.
