The other night some scumbag tried breaking into my 00 Honda Accord,
On the drivers door, they broke off the key slot attached to the the handle, thankfully the alarm went off and the immobiliser kicked in and they ran off.

But now have big hole were the the key slot used to be, and all you have to do is stick your finger in to open the central locking, but the immobiliser and alarm kicks in if not opened by pressing button on keys, so be hard to steal the car.

Just wondered what would be cheapest/most effective way to amend this problem, anyone give me ideas, how much etc

    Thanks

Get a back door handle and fit it.

As long as the other door has a keyhole you'll be able to get in if the battery dies
