Hi. Can anyone suggest some driving ranges around Dublin where you can hit balls off the grass as well as mats?

    Good thread

Must check out the ward ... Been down Elm Green range and hitting great irons off the mats but then not hitting them well out on the course ... Love to get some practice in on grass

Thanks for the input guys. :)

Checked out the ward today for the first time- decent sized grass area and although it has plenty of divots it was recently cut and pretty flat. Balls were a on a par with elm green, maybe a little better (but certainly nothing to write home about!) and it's reasonably priced - 5 for 60, 8 for 100 or 10 for unlimited balls for two hours. There was also a chipping green with a few bunkers but not sure on the pricing or usage policy there. I'll be back.
