Newholland tractor wont reverse

I have a 1997 Newholland M135 (similar to an 8360) range command tractor and hit a bump in the field while out spraying - the fault code F9 appeared on the screen and now the tractor wont engage reverse. Rang the dealer from the field but the relevant person is off on a course and another person checked the fault code book…

I have a 1997 Newholland M135 (similar to an 8360) range command tractor and hit a bump in the field while out spraying - the fault code F9 appeared on the screen and now the tractor wont engage reverse. Rang the dealer from the field but the relevant person is off on a course and another person checked the fault code book and said that F9 means there is a break in the wire between the shuttle and the gearbox.

Does anybody know where to start looking to solve this problem?
