Can anyone recommend a hill walk for about 2 hours that wouldn't be too far from Rathfarnham or Tallaght area. I'd like a bit of a challenge but nothing too difficult.
    Thanks :)

Ticknock, just south of Marlay Park is not too far away and you can choose the lenght of your walk by the routes you take. It also has some nice views.

Have a look at this website for some walks in the Dublin Mountains:

Thanks guys. Went up to the Hellfire Club at the weekend - great to have so many nice spots so close to the city.

Yeah, it's great to be so close to the mountains and the sea in one city. Tibradden, Cruagh, Fairy Castle and the Lead Mines are all lovely places a stones throw from the M50.
