Ive seen this question up pn here before, and ive studied it myself somewhat last year. I contacted TDs and talked to wine shop owners. Its basically the idea of selling wine at a market.

Supposedly you need an liquorl license, which costs thousands. So the only people actually able to do this would be off-licences alreday set up. Does anybody have any idea of how to get around this law? I did see wine being sold in a market before, but it was in hampers. Maybe thats the way to do it? Or maybe if the market sells food? Any help at all would be greatly appreciated. I have a good supplier of spanish wine, just need an outlet.

You need to talk to the garda in your area in charge of liquor licensing, or speak to a solicitor experienced in licensing issues to get the answer regarding this. I do not think you will get the answer you would like but you should try.

Wine is a very saturated market when you get into it.

As a wine licence is tied to a premises the market route is clearly not open to you. If it was, every Tom, Dick and Harry would be doing it by now.
