    Hello,

my mum wants to move her oil tank from adjacent to the house into the garage which is about 4m from the house. The garage level is 750mm below the oil boiler.
Is it possible to pump the oil from the lower level storage tank to the boiler?
Has anyone any experice of such a system?
    Any feedback appreciated......

Your oil burner has a pump, switch to a two pipe system or use a Tigerloop, not a problem.

Into the garage im not sure if the tank would be allowed inside a structure without more precautions being taken.
Its just if there was an accident or anything insure could refuse to pay out over it .

Oil tank can be inside, terms and conditions apply!! Use an Oftec engineer who will know the requirments. A tiger loop can also be used, just make sure it fitted externally, as per the regs also.
