HTC Eircom email, on upc broadband

    Hello,

    I have a HTC desire HD, I use eircom.net email address and my isp is with UPC, so how do I set this up? I can find settings if you are a eircom customer alright, but not via UPC.

    Any help will be great!

    In order to send mail using Eircom's SMTP server you need to be on their network.

    If you are on UPC you use smtp.upcmail.ie

    The POP 3 settings you use are the usual Eircom ones.

    If you are mobile and on O2 or 3 etc, you will need to use their SMTP servers.

    Best bet is to set up a Gmail account. It can pick up your eircom mail while you are changing over and you will not have to keep changing servers.
