Booked a couple of times through SV and collect points regularly with them. Planing on a few days away soon.

So, anyone had some unexpectedly good experiences? Its always great when you get a good deal and a hotel is nicer than you were expecting, so am looking for recommendations for anywhere around the country. Couple from me:

    Ballygarry house, Tralee
    Delphi Mountain Lodge, Connemara.

    Cheers

We were in the Dingle Skellig last week. Grand spot, nice restaurant in it. The bar was a bit dead though.

You could stay in the Maryborough Hotel & Spa in Douglas, Cork. It's supposed to be very nice, as is it's restaurant, Zings.

Carlton Hotel in Kinsale was lovely. It's a bit outside the town, but they have a free shuttle service into Kinsale if you want. Avoid staying there if there's a wedding on though.

Delphi is stunning, hotel & scenery both amazing, only downside s the weather. If it's raining it could be the worst place to be. Who are you travelling with? Another good one is Fota Wildlife Hotel & Spa in Cork.
