Found out yesterday that the gearbox needs rebuilding. Have a 2002 Honda Civic Hatchback. I was quoted €650 to do the job (refurb). [Something about 2 bearings prob gone]

What do ye guys think? Could I do better elsewhere, any suggestions would be much appreciated! I'm living in Tipperary.

A lot cheaper to get one from the scrap yard. Save yourself $$$.

No point in getting one in scrapyard they all go they'll all price a refurb in around the same money go with longest warranty or who has one on the shelf.
