can anyone tell me what the true benifit of membership of the newly merged SCS and IAVI ---SCSI is? at €400 per year for membership (€717 per year for dual membership) is it worth the monery for the few additional letters and a glossy magazine? we now have a massive society that tries to cover all aspects of surveying but…

we now have a massive society that tries to cover all aspects of surveying but are they missing the focus. With surveying been so broad ranging would we not be better off with a smaller society for quantity surveyors, society for building surveyors etc.....

i would take that money and enjoy a good w'end away. that way it will have been of benefit to you.
