    Hey everyone,

About six months ago, I lost my provisional licence. I applied for a new one a got it one week later.
Last week, I lost the new one, but while tearing the house apart I found the old one. Can I use it?
I bought a car last week, and was driving around and I got stopped at a checkpoint. They looked at the old one and told me to go on ahead.

Was this because I had tax, Nct, insurance and a full licence driver that they didnt really look at it? What should i do, if anything!

    Thanks in advance :)

Your first one is still valid, If you really wanted to go by the book you'd report it found and report the replacement lost. Not really worth worrying about IMO.

The only difference between the replacement and your original licence will be the code 71 meaning it's a duplicate.

FYI, if you move to a 'smart' meter electricity plan, you CAN'T move back to a non-smart plan.

You don't have to take a 'smart' meter if you don't want one, opt-out is available.

Buy drinks in 3L or bigger plastic bottles or glass bottles or cartons to avoid the DRS fee.

Can't see that being an issue to be honest. The only thing that will be different is the code to indicate it's a duplicate won't be on it. Your driver number remains is the same on both and remains with you for life, even when you get your full licence.

Wouldn't worry about it, just don't loose this one:)
