    Hi,
    Is this pyracantha? it has small yellow flowers and lots of long slender thorns and the bees were all over it at the weekend.

    I don't think so. Pyrocantha tends to have much nastier thorns. Does it get berries in autumn?

    Looks like it is a Berberis. Possibly Berberis Frikartii Amstelveen.
