Architect invoicing constuction company - RCT?

Im a sole trader Architect/Engineer now invoicing a construction company for professional services. Am I right in thinking that RCT rules/procedure does not apply to these professional services and that they just pay me amount as invoiced without them holding 35% etc

You're correct, your services would not fall under 'construction' operations within the RCT system.
