    Hi,

A few months back the screen on my iPhone shattered I left it as it was as it was for a while. I did however order a replacement screen and untapped it this evening. All went to plan and it was fairly easy. However the very edge of the right hand side of the doesn't work so I am having issues with the p and back buttons in text and email, I have put it in landscape so I can use them and as for the iPod letter scrolling, Well that us just a no go. Any ideas as to why this is happening, thanks in advance for any help.

sorry to ask the obvious question but did you fit everything securely and correctly?

Yeah, this happens from time to time, you have not inserted the touchscreen cable in correctly, to fix simple remove the front assembly and put it back in again, this time making sure that the ribbon cable is fully connected to the bottom connector.

ok, well I can only suggest that you buy this,

    http://cgi.ebay.ie/NEW-Touch-Screen-Digitizer-Assembly-Frame-4-iPhone-3GS-/270740500916?pt=UK_Mobiles_Accessories_RL&hash=item3f096431b4

should solve your problem and not as much of a pain to change then the digitizer.
