Is there a non-gloopy/sticky sunblock?

    Hi there,

I'm looking for at least a factor 40 - 50 sun cream but anything I've tried is just too heavy and leaves a dull whitish film on my skin or if it's clear it tends to be very sticky. This is something I'll be wearing a lot so am looking for something as light (but effective) as possible, if such a thing exists. For face/neck/chest/anything that's exposed.

    Cheers!

Nivea do an invisible spray on. I wouldn't put it on my face personally but I usually use it on my chest and arms and I've never had any problems.

I've been using No-Ad for the past few years, I quite like it. Never found it gloopy or sticky. I found it in my local pharmacy in Sligo but I think it's stocked fairly widely throughout the country

    Hope that helps!

I got a sample of Kiehl's factor 50 recently and it goes on lovely. It's quite expensive to be putting all over, but would be great for your face.

I'm very fair and have the same problem in trying to find a good sunscreen, I have sensitive skin too and would rather not use a face and body sunscreen. This suncream is specifically for your face, its not heavy either.

Great. Thanks for the suggestions all. I was talking to a dermatologist today and she recommended La Roche Posay but she also happened to stock it...

I would recommend La Roche Posay, they do a very good range of suncreams and have some nice lightweight ones.
