    New to all this so if could get a bit of help would be very thankful.
    I have max €200 euro so looking at "budget" phones.
    I was looking at the,
    LG Optimus 1
    Sony Ericsson X10 Mini Pro
    Sony Ericsson X8
    Orange San Francisco

    Any help or advice would be great. Thanks

    Orange San Francisco is the best of the bunch you have listed and still the best budget android phone available.
