Buying appliances online from UK - warranty void?

    Hi,

    I was just about to kit out a new house with appliances from a site based in the UK but I was told that the warranties are void once the appliances leave UK mainland?

    Is this correct?

    Has anyone had similar issues/gone ahead and bought stuff and got warranties elsewhere?

    Mods feel free to move if this should be posted somewhere else

    Im sure you can ask the company who your buying from.

    The warranty might not be voided but you may have to get it back to them so they can diagnose a fault

    Best bet is to ask them what the warranty covered and if you would have to return it to them for diagnosis,get an email from them confirming this.

    To be honest id be very surprised if you cant find cheaper here and if not could you pass on the website to me :)
