    Since its for a summer event like you said, I wouldnt be going for black.

    A nice pair of wedge sandals would be nicer imo.

    And in regards to jewelery. . I think gold would be nice.

    Sorry for bumping this thread but going shopping for shrug, shoes, hair piece on Thursday and would love some suggestions. (I'm crap at this kind of thing!)

    Like the other poster said id go with wedges! And would not go for black! Try and get a shrug in the greeny blue colour or another of the colours that is in it! As the dress is busy Id go for plain and simple jewellery, or just a pair of big earrings!

    Shoe-wise, I'd go with something like these from aldo:

    A black shrug/pashmina would be fine but I wouldn't be going for a headpiece at all, I think the dress has enough going on and if you go for the statement jewellery a headpiece would be way too much.
