Is it a pressed metal number plate machine your looking for? If so if you look up Deevys motor accessories in Waterford and give them a buzz. They had one of these in their Clonmel shop which closed recently. It's very likely they still have it and are willing to part with it. Colm Deevy is the man you want to speak with. He won't know me so no point telling him I sent you but Im very good friends with the ex manager Mick. Might be worth a try, was thinking of buying it myself and setting up a little web business but alas don't have the time.

you dont need an old machine just a metal stamping one, you will just need the old style blanks

And plenty of old logbooks ( said entirely in jest)

Give me day or two and I'll get you a supplier name. Hope they decide to sell it to you, they've gone with a printer style system so they've no use for it. Perhaps you might do me a set cheap if you get it :)

Ok I rang around. A company called motorscene used to supply them but it's possible they went out of business last year, I've not been able to confirm this though. Another name that's popping up is D&S Roe. I have my man making a few enquiries into more suppliers but it might be handy to ask the lads in Deevys if they decide to sell you the machine as I'm told they still have a machine for doing them plates.
