Hey i'm a complete newbie to roleplaying games. I have partaken in about three so far due to my friends getting me into them.

I'm just looking for any kind of roleplaying group who wouldn't mind a member that is slightly inexperienced :D

    I'm in south dublin.

Are you looking to play any games in particular, or with a particular age group?

If you're interested in trying slightly different related things as well as tabletop RPGs, I could introduce you to some non-rubber-sword LARPs based in the city centre. It might at least be a painless way to make some contacts for tabletop games as there's a lot of crossover.

Failing that, there's some conventions coming up which might be a good way to try some different games. I'll check and see where the next one is.

^^ i had nothing particular in mind rly.I like fantasy style ones the best though. I don't mind what age group either.
    Im 21 btw.

^ Sounds interesting yeh. Do you have details for that so?

Regarding conventions, yup i'm staff on one that has lots of roleplay. Its not for another two months though.

Not a bother. I put a quick post together for someone a bit back on it: http://www.boards.ie/vbulletin/showpost.php?p=71160269&postcount=2

If you take a look on the forums, there should be a list of the dates of the next Dublin games (Basically, we're in the Dark Horse Inn on the quays from about 7PM each Tuesday- we play a few different settings, a different one each week of the month).

There's also Midway which is kind of cool - an airsoft based post apocalyptic Larp. I'm not too sure on the details of that though but people seem to like it a lot these days. I'll link you their site so you can have a look http://midwaylrp.com/

Good plan. Tomorrow is Masquerade which I'm quite fond of. It might be a little quiet though as a fair chunk of our regulars are in exam panic mode for college at the sec.
