I dunno I thought it was enjoyable enough... though I thought they wasted the potential of it...

Would have probably made a better television series.

I watched this on a job ages ago. It was an intriguing story that no one at the pen, or camera, had the talent to tell. The whole idea of protagonist/antagonist shift told over one movie is an interesting one, but choosing the bog-standard Hollywood action flick formula is probably the most misguided of means in which you could explore it.

I actually really enjoyed the premise of the film, but they made Foxx's character so unlikeable that you ended up hoping he'd be killed for being such a clueless idiot.

I was rooting for Butler all the way through.

one of the few films where i actually DID want the "Bad guy" to win.

great little flick which butler should be proud of.

i voted for the bomb to go off but TBH i wouldnt expect or want it to bring the whole system down , but rather he'd just disappear without a trace after making his point ala the usual supsects.

that'd be the ending i'd like.

It feels like they (director, writer, whoever) shifted away from the events of his family being killed. To him just being 'the bad guy'

what I mean is... his family gets killed. The guy who done it gets a plea bargain and gets off pretty much. Clyde is just meant to accept it. No... he seeks revenge against te killer and the justice system that let the killer away.

Its like they went for a "he is going to far" type of thing. But ... honestly. I didnt wanna see Clyde die :P Wanted him to 'win'

Saw this on Netflix a few hours ago. Utterly ridiculous and far fetched - I mean I thought it would be about Clyde going after the bad guys who murdered his wife and daughter.

But no - he basically wanted to nuke Philly. I wanted him to win.:D
