Where to buy?

I'm looking to buy a new TV. Having done a bit of legwork online, I've been to visit a few stores in Dublin, but I can't get over how bad the reception is on most of the screens in most of the shops.

Powercity, Currys, Peats, all have very few sets directly linked to a decent source so you can compare /see the quality. How do people usually make a decision assuming all the features that are needed are included.

The only shop I've been to that had everything with a good source was the Philips store, but of course they only stock Philips.
